How To Get There
The closest airport to us is Essaouira airport. A few airlines operate direct flights from London, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Madrid and Gran Canaria. If direct flight routes or schedules don’t work for you, the next best option is to fly to Marrakech or Agadir and take a 2.5 hours or 3.5 hours car transfer respectively to Essaouira. Accommodation in Essaouira
Our trek departures are at 9:30am so we strongly recommend arriving in Essaouira the day before and staying in a hotel of your choice. The trek ends around 5-6 pm so many guests also decide to stay an extra night in Essaouira before catching their return flight.
For hotels in Essaouira, we recommend staying in the Medina, the old part of the town. It has a wonderful charm with narrow streets, small shops and cafes and restaurants, and there are plenty of nice hotel and riad options. Medina is also the most convenient location for our rides. The pickup for our trek departures is right outside of the Medina gates, and for local rides, you can easily take a taxi to the village of Diabat where our stables are located. The taxi costs you a fixed fee of 25 dirhams and takes less than 10 minutes.
